Scope
1.1 This document specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, types, parameters, classification and models, technical requirements, test methods, and conformity indicators of aluminum alloy inner-liner carbon fiber fully wrapped gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "gas cylinders"). It also covers inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and product conformity certificates and batch inspection quality certificates.
1.2 This document applies to the design and manufacture of rechargeable gas cylinders for the following usage conditions:
a) Operating temperature range: -40 °C to 65 °C;
b) Nominal working pressure: not more than 30 MPa;
c) Nominal volume: not more than 450 L;
d) Containment of compressed gases such as natural gas, oxygen, air, nitrogen, argon, helium, neon, krypton, etc., which are compatible with the materials of the aluminum alloy inner-liner (hereinafter referred to as "inner-liner"), as well as liquefied carbon dioxide gas.
1.3 This document does not apply to automotive gas cylinders.
