Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, composition and classification, measurement, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of electronic direct-reading water meters.
This standard applies to all types of cold and hot water meters with various diameters that are installed and used by urban residents, based on the installation of electronic direct-reading devices on the base meter to measure the actual volume flow of drinking cold and hot water, and comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 778.1 and GB/T 778.3.
