Scope
This standard specifies the explosion-proof technical requirements for the classification of hazardous areas, general technical measures, testing, marking, and symbols in oil and gas recovery systems. This standard applies to oil and gas recovery systems used in gas stations, tank trucks, and oil storage facilities, and is suitable for fuel gases or vapors with a classification of Class IIA and a temperature group of T1, T2, or T3. Note: This standard does not include requirements for metering methods, nor does it evaluate the effectiveness of oil and gas recovery. The requirements for the effectiveness of oil and gas recovery can be found in GB 20950, GB 20951, and GB 20952.
