Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements and measures that designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and users of clay sand mixing machines should follow.
This standard applies to fixed-rotor mixing machines, planetary-rotor mixing machines, bowl-rotating mixing machines, and various roller-type and swing-arm type mixing machines (hereinafter referred to as mixing machines).
This standard also applies to all units and auxiliary equipment that constitute the components of clay sand mixing equipment.
