Scope
This document specifies the product classification, technical requirements, and test methods for butadiene used in industry, as well as sampling, inspection rules, marking, labeling, and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document applies to butadiene used as a polymerization monomer and a raw material for products such as adiponitrile and adiponamide. The structural formula of butadiene is: CH2=CH–CH=CH2, with a relative molecular mass of 54.0 (based on the 2018 International Atomic Mass Table).
