Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, materials and structures, classification, requirements, test frequency, and marking of rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies used in gas stations with oil and gas recovery functions. This standard applies to rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies used for metering and dispensing fuel (including oxidized fuel with an oxidation compound content of no more than 15%) at temperatures between -30 ℃ and +55 ℃ and low-temperature grades between -40 ℃ and +55 ℃, with an operating pressure of no more than 1.6 MPa. This standard does not apply to multi-chamber fuel distribution hoses.
