Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for stainless steel welded gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "gas cylinders"), including materials, design, manufacturing processes, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. This standard applies to gas cylinders used in environments with temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C, with a water pressure test pressure not exceeding 6.0 MPa (gauge pressure) and a nominal volume of 0.5 L to 1,000 L. These gas cylinders are suitable for refilling with compressed gases, low-pressure liquefied gases, and dissolved gases that are compatible with the material of the gas cylinders.
