Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for colored flame-retardant polyester staple fibers. This standard applies to colored flame-retardant polyester staple fibers for spinning with a nominal linear density of 1.50 dtex to 6.67 dtex, semi-matte finish, and round cross-section. Other types of colored flame-retardant polyester staple fibers can be used as a reference for application.
