Scope
This section specifies the determination of manganese content by potentiometric titration, ammonium nitrate oxidation titration, and perchloric acid oxidation titration. This section is applicable to the determination of manganese content in manganese iron, blast furnace manganese iron, manganese silicon, manganese nitride iron, and metallic manganese, with a determination range (mass fraction) of 50.00% to 98.00%. Method I is not suitable for the determination of manganese content in chromium and vanadium (mass fraction) > 0.4% in manganese iron and blast furnace manganese iron, manganese silicon, manganese nitride iron, and metallic manganese.
