Scope
This part of GB 10395 specifies the safety requirements and assessment methods for the design and manufacture of tractor-drawn, suspension-mounted, and self-propelled potato harvesters. It also stipulates the types of safety operation information that manufacturers should provide.
This part applies to tractor-drawn, suspension-mounted, and self-propelled potato harvesters that can perform one or more operations such as stem and leaf cutting, digging, picking up, cleaning, conveying, and unloading. It also applies to potato harvesters that can be used to harvest other crops without modification (hereinafter referred to as "harvesters").
This part does not consider environmental factors.
