Scope

This part of GB 10395 specifies the safety requirements and assessment methods for the design and manufacture of suspended and semi-suspended spreading and raking machines, as well as single-rotating or multi-rotating rotating spreading and raking machines driven by tractor power or auxiliary power.
This part applies to power spreading and raking machines.
This part does not apply to:
——Parallel-toothed raking machines;
——Chain or belt raking machines;
——Manual spreading and raking machines.
Note: This part does not address the common hazards of all agricultural machinery, especially those related to mobility, including the common hazards associated with self-propelled machinery, which are specified in GB 10395.1.
This part does not consider environmental factors.
