Scope
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography determination method for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (naphthalene, acenaphthene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, benzo[a]anthracene, benzo[b]fluoranthene, benzo[k]fluoranthene, benzo[a]pyrene, indeno[1,2,3c,d]pyrene, dibenzo[a,h]anthracene, and benzo[g,h,i]fluoranthene) in food, as well as the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry determination method for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (naphthalene, acenaphthene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, benzo[a]anthracene, benzo[b]fluoranthene, benzo[k]fluoranthene, benzo[a]pyrene, indeno[1,2,3c,d]pyrene, dibenzo[a,h]anthracene, and benzo[g,h,i]fluoranthene) in food.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in food.
