Scope

This document specifies the classification of laser surface cleaning, general requirements, process preparation, cleaning procedures, and quality control requirements. This document is applicable to the laser cleaning of metal oxides, plating layers, coatings, and other specific contaminants on the surface of workpieces, including the cleaning of contaminants before welding, assembly, and coating preparation, the removal of surface contaminants after welding and processing, and the removal of surface materials that have failed in their functionality (protection, modification, etc.).
