Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, etc. of pneumatic control valves (also known as control valves) used in industrial process control systems. This standard applies to all types of pneumatic control valves (hereinafter referred to as control valves) composed of pneumatic actuators and valves. The relevant content in this standard also applies to independent pneumatic actuators and valve assemblies. This standard does not apply to control valves subject to specific national requirements, such as those operating under radioactive conditions.
