Scope
This document specifies the product classification and general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage for pneumatic control valves used in industrial process control systems.
This document applies to all types of pneumatic control valves (hereinafter referred to as "control valves") composed of pneumatic actuators and valves. This document also applies to standalone pneumatic actuators and valve assemblies.
Control valves used in radiation work environments or other hazardous work environments with specific national requirements for working conditions should refer to this document for implementation.
