Scope

This document specifies the type and designation, dimensions, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, ordering information, packaging, and storage of winding gaskets for Class-identified flanges (hereinafter referred to as "gaskets").
This document applies to winding gaskets for flanges with nominal pressures of Class 150 to Class 1500 and nominal sizes of DN 15 to DN 600 (NPS 1/2 to NPS 24), as specified in GB/T 9124.2.
