Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of asbestos-free fiber gasket materials made by the cutting method.
This standard applies to fiber boards or rolls made for gasket production, which are mainly reinforced with asbestos-free fibers, bonded with latex and added with other fillers, and then pulped and cut. Sealing gaskets made from this material can also be referenced for use.
