Scope
This standard specifies the designation method of high-strength crack-resistant steel plates for marine use, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard is applicable to the manufacture of large container ships' deck, hatch covers, and other structural components, with a thickness of 50 mm to 100 mm, and high-strength steel plates with crack-resistant properties (hereinafter referred to as steel plates).
