Scope

This part of GB/T 3098 specifies the mechanical properties of self-tapping screws made from austenitic, martensitic, and ferritic corrosion-resistant stainless steels when tested at an ambient temperature of 10℃ to 35℃. At higher or lower temperatures, their performance may vary.
This part applies to self-tapping screws with threads specified in GB/T 5280 as ST 2.2 to ST 8.
