Scope

This standard specifies the overview, classification, related hazard descriptions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and usage information for planetary mixers (hereinafter referred to as "mixers") equipped with bowl-shaped material cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "material buckets").
This standard applies to planetary mixers with a bucket capacity of ≥5 L and <500 L, used in food factories and stores to process various materials such as cocoa powder, flour, sugar, oils and fats, minced meat, eggs, and other materials. It can also be used as a reference by other industries, such as the pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, and printing industry.
This standard does not apply to: —- auxiliary planetary mixers; —- continuous feeders; —- vertical kneading machines (GB 22748); —- experimental and testing devices developed by manufacturers; —- household appliances.
