Scope
This standard specifies the acidity method and turbidity method for determining the sulfur dioxide content in starch and its derivatives. This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfur dioxide content in starch and its derivatives. The acidity method is suitable for samples with a sulfur dioxide content higher than 16 mg/kg, and the turbidity method is suitable for samples with a sulfur dioxide content lower than 16 mg/kg.
