Scope

This standard specifies the performance and design requirements, materials, manufacturing, inspection, acceptance, performance testing, and requirements for painting, marking, packaging, and transportation of high-pressure heaters in the conventional island of nuclear power plants (hereinafter referred to as high-pressure heaters).
This standard applies to U-tube type high-pressure heaters.
