Scope

This standard specifies the types and basic parameters, requirements, tests, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of gas power units used in oil extraction well sites (hereinafter referred to as "units").
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, inspection, and acceptance of gas power units used in oil extraction well sites. The units are mainly used to drive oil pumping units, gas pumping units, crude oil pumping pumps, natural gas compressors, and lifting machinery for operations in oil extraction well sites. Given the current situation of oil extraction well sites, the gas fuels mentioned in the standard are limited to natural gas, oil extraction associated gas, and casing gas. Gas power units used outside oil extraction well sites to drive other equipment, as well as power units driven by other fuel engines, can also be referenced for implementation.
