GB/T 18015.4-2007 Multicore and symmetrical pair/quad cables for digital communications—Part 4:Riser cables—Sectional specification

Scope

This part is used in conjunction with GB/T 18015.1—2007. This type of cable is specifically designed for vertical cabling as defined in GB/T 18233. This part applies to unshielded cables with 20 pairs of twisted wires/10 four-wire groups or more, used for vertical channel or inter-floor cabling. When installed vertically, additional length requirements may be specified in the applicable detailed specifications. The cable core may have total shielding. These cables are suitable for use in various communication systems mentioned in the applicable detailed specifications. The cables included in this part should operate under the voltage and current typically used in communication systems. These cables should not be connected to low-impedance power sources such as public power supplies. The recommended temperature range during cable installation and operation is specified in the detailed specifications.
