Scope

This document specifies the type and dimensions, technical requirements, marking and labeling, and identification of Class B fine-rod hexagonal head bolts.
This document applies to bolts with thread specifications of M3 to M20, coarse-threaded, with performance grades of 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, A2-50, and A2-70, and a product grade of Class B. The bolts are fine-rod (with a shank diameter approximately equal to the thread pitch), made of steel and stainless steel, and have a hexagonal head (hereinafter referred to as "bolts").
