Basic Information

Standard Code: GB/T 18948-2009
Standard Type: National standards
Standard Status: Replaced
is_force_gb: no
CCS Name: Rubber hoses, adhesive tapes, and rubber cloths
ICS Name: Comprehensive Installation of Road Vehicles
Publish Date: 2009-06-15
Implement Date: 2010-02-01
Pages: 14 pages

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for straight or preformed hoses or pure rubber hoses used in the pressurization or pressure relief cooling system of internal combustion engines in vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of less than 3.5 tons (as specified in GB/T 3730.2), where 1,2-propanediol is used as the coolant. This standard can be used as a classification method, enabling original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to provide detailed markings for specialized tests not included in the specified main types (see the example in Appendix D). In this case, the hoses or pure rubber hoses do not bear any markings indicating the standard number, but should be identified by the detailed markings specified in the OEM's parts diagrams.
