本文件与GB 10395.1一起，规定了用于施用农药和喷施液体肥料的植物保护机械的设计和制造相关的安全要求及其验证方法。本文件还规定了制造商应提供的有关安全作业规范（包括剩余风险）的信息类型。
当本文件的规定与GB 10395.1的规定不一致时，对按本文件规定设计和制造的机器，本文件的规定优先于GB 10395.1的规定。
本文件与GB 10395.1一起给出了在制造商预定条件下按预期使用时发生的重大危险、危险状态和危险事件（见附录A），但下列情况引起的危险除外：
——噪声之外的环境因素；
——防护装置和屏障的强度要求之外的传递动力的运动件。
本文件适用于施用农药和喷施液体肥料（以下统一简称为“农药”）的手动和机动植物保护机械［喷雾机（器）、喷粉机、烟雾机、液体肥料喷施机等，以下简称“植保机械”或“机器”］，但不适用于有人驾驶和无人驾驶航空施药系统。
本文件不适用于实施日期之前制造的植保机械。
