Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, materials, structure, classification, and connection of threaded steel pipes for drainage (hereinafter referred to as pipes), as well as requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to coated threaded steel pipes used in non-pressure underground urban drainage and industrial drainage projects with a medium temperature of below 45 °C, as well as galvanized threaded steel pipes used in urban rainwater drainage and collection, and farmland water irrigation projects.
