Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for nylon drawn filament, describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates the inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and other aspects. It also provides the classification and labeling of the product. This document is applicable to nylon 6 and nylon 66 drawn filament for civilian use, with a nominal linear density of 5.0 dtex to 500.0 dtex (for twisted filament, the nominal linear density is before twisting), a single filament linear density of 0.2 dtex to 15.0 dtex, a round cross-section, and a glossy, semi-matt, or fully matt finish. The filament must be untwisted and not subjected to compression washing or heat setting. Other specifications and types of nylon drawn filament may be used as reference.
