Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, quality requirements, hygiene requirements for the production and processing process, inspection methods, inspection rules, labels, markings and packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of ready-to-eat red dates.
This standard applies to dried red dates that are made from ripe fresh dates or dried dates and are free from impurities and can be eaten after undergoing processes such as selection, washing, drying, sterilization, and packaging.
