Scope
This standard defines the terms and definitions of frozen shrimp products, and stipulates the test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for frozen shrimp products.
This standard applies to raw, pre-cooked, frozen whole shrimp, and frozen headless shrimp products processed from species such as Penaeidae, Pandalidae, Crangonidae, and Palaemonidae.
