This document specifies the requirements for the installation, use, inspection, maintenance, and disposal of batteries in terms of safety.
This document applies to the installation, inspection, and maintenance of fixed batteries (including high-rate valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries) with a maximum nominal DC voltage of 1,500 V.
