Scope

This part of GB/T 6177 specifies the type and dimensions, technical requirements, and markings of Type 2 hexagonal flange-faced nuts.
This part is applicable to Type 2 hexagonal flange-faced nuts with thread sizes of M5 to M20, performance grades of 8, 10, and 12, and A2-70, and product grades of A and B. Grade A is used for nuts with a diameter of D ≤ 16 mm; Grade B is used for nuts with a diameter of D > 16 mm.
