Scope

This document specifies the hygiene safety and functional requirements for air purifiers used in households and similar applications with antibacterial, disinfectant, and purification functions, as well as labeling requirements, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document applies to the research, development, production, and inspection of air purifiers used in households and similar applications that have one or more of the following functions: antibacterial, anti-mold, anti-allergen, anti-viral, disinfectant, anti-allergen, anti-viral, or odor removal (hereinafter referred to as "purifiers").
Note: For products with the above-mentioned functions that are not the main functions of the product, such as dehumidifiers, fans, humidifiers, etc., the evaluation of their compliance with the above-mentioned functions can refer to the relevant content of this document.
