Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of station shut-off valves, order requirements, structural types, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, transportation, delivery documents, and use and maintenance.
This standard applies to shut-off valves used in water pressure tests for main steam and reheater systems of power station boilers within the following parameter ranges.
a) Nominal pressure PN4.0 MPa to 63.0 MPa, with a maximum working temperature not exceeding 450 ℃;
b) Working pressure P4.0 MPa to 32.0 MPa, with a maximum working temperature not exceeding 620 ℃;
c) Nominal size DN 175 to DN 1 200.
