Scope
This document specifies the classification and marking, general requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of modular air conditioning units (hereinafter referred to as "units").
This document applies to units that use water or steam as the medium for the coil. Units that use brine or glycol water solution as the refrigerant, units that use direct evaporation coils, and units that use electric heaters should refer to this document for guidance.
