GB/T 38260-2019 Service robot functional safety assessment

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and processes for the functional safety assessment of service robot control systems, hazard identification and risk assessment, functional safety management, specifications for safety-related control functions (hereinafter referred to as SRCF), requirements for SRCS, design and integration of SRCS, and verification and validation, as well as the characteristics of risks directly caused by hazards of service robots themselves or robot groups working in collaboration. It establishes functional safety requirements aimed at reducing the risk of personal injury or property damage caused by direct proximity to or use of service robots.
This standard applies to the functional safety of service robot-related control systems used individually and/or in combination. The functional safety assessment of service robot groups working in collaboration can refer to this standard.
This standard does not apply to all requirements (e.g., protection, non-electrical interlocking or non-electrical control) proposed by other standards or regulations for protecting people from hazards or property damage, nor to electrical hazards caused by electrical control equipment itself (e.g., electric shock, see GB 5226.1).
Note: All types of service robots need to meet their special requirements to provide adequate safety.
