Scope

This standard specifies the basic technical requirements and model numbering methods for inlet valves of large and medium-sized hydroelectric turbines.
This standard applies to butterfly valves with a nominal diameter of 1,000 mm to 10,000 mm for hydroelectric turbine inlet valves, and spherical valves with a nominal diameter of 500 mm to 5,000 mm. Other butterfly valves and spherical valves (including energy storage pumps and water pump turbines) can refer to this standard for implementation.
