Scope
This document specifies the basic technical requirements and model compilation methods for inlet valves of large and medium-sized turbines, and describes the test methods.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of butterfly valves with a nominal diameter of 1,000 mm to 10,000 mm and ball valves with a nominal diameter of 500 mm to 5,000 mm for turbine inlet valves.
For butterfly valves and ball valves of other types (including energy storage pumps, water diversion pumps, and pump-turbines), this document may be used as a reference for implementation.
