Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, test principles, equipment and materials, test procedures, data processing, and result evaluation for the fragment impact test method of extremely insensitive articles (Article 1.6) of dangerous goods that do not pose an overall explosion hazard.
This document is applicable to evaluating the reactivity of extremely insensitive articles when subjected to localized high-speed fragment impacts. Other explosives can be used for reference.
