Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for the simulation analysis of the space environment and its effects on spacecraft, including the general process of simulation analysis of the space environment and its effects, mission analysis, analysis of the elements of the space environment and its effects, analysis of the parameters of the space environment and its effects, solar activity analysis, analysis of the influence of planetary magnetic fields, orbit analysis and modeling, analysis and modeling of spacecraft structures, simulation analysis of the space environment, and output of the results of the simulation analysis. This document is applicable to the simulation analysis of spacecraft and their materials, components, and assemblies in environments such as vacuum, charged particles, ultraviolet radiation, neutral atmosphere (including atomic oxygen), plasma, pollution, micrometeorites and space debris, dust and dust storms, as well as single-particle effects, total ionization dose effects, displacement damage effects, surface charging and discharging effects, deep charging/internal charging effects, atomic oxygen erosion effects, impact effects of micrometeorites and space debris, and pollution effects. It is also applicable to guiding the design and development of software and codes for the simulation analysis of the space environment and its effects on spacecraft, and may be used as a reference for the analysis of the space environment and its effects on living organisms.
