Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods for the content of 17 types of 2,3,7,8-substituted polychlorinated dibenzo-para-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) and 12 types of dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (DL-PCBs) in food, as well as their toxicity equivalents (TEQs) (see Table A.1 in Appendix A).
Method I, "Isotope dilution-gas chromatography-magnetic high-resolution mass spectrometry", is suitable for determining the content of 17 types of PCDD/Fs and 12 types of DL-PCBs in food, as well as their TEQs.
Method II, "Isotope dilution-gas chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry", is suitable for determining the content of 17 types of PCDD/Fs and 12 types of DL-PCBs in meat and meat products, aquatic animals and their products, milk and dairy products, eggs and egg products, and fats, as well as their TEQs.
