Scope

This document specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of recycled polycarbonate plastics.
This document applies to recycled polycarbonate plastic pellets made from waste polycarbonate plastics through processes such as screening, classification, cleaning, and melt extrusion. The base material of this recycled polycarbonate plastic is a thermoplastic polyester containing carbonic acid and aromatic dihydroxy compounds as specified in GB/T 35513.1. The polyester can be a homopolymer, copolymer, or a mixture of both.
This document does not apply to recycled polycarbonate plastics from hazardous waste such as medical waste and pesticide packaging, or radioactive waste.
This document does not apply to mixed recycled plastics made from polycarbonate and other resin materials.
