Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of canned citrus, stipulates the requirements for raw materials and auxiliary materials, sensory requirements, physical and chemical indicators, and inspection rules for canned citrus, as well as the contents of packaging, marking, transportation, and storage. It describes the test methods and provides a product classification and code for technical specifications.
This document is applicable to canned food products made from fresh, refrigerated, or frozen citrus or canned citrus as the main raw materials, without the addition of preservatives. The products are processed, graded, canned, filled with juice, degassed, sealed, sterilized, and cooled to produce canned foods.
