Scope

This part of GB/T 40425 specifies the classification of electric bus top contact charging systems, general requirements, communication, electric shock protection, the connection between electric buses and top contact charging systems, special requirements for vehicle interfaces and power supply interfaces, structural requirements for electric bus power supply equipment, performance requirements for electric bus top contact charging systems, overload protection and short-circuit detection, emergency stop and abnormal handling, usage conditions, maintenance, marking and instructions.
This part applies to electric bus top contact charging systems. The system includes non-vehicle-mounted chargers and charging automatic couplers. The maximum rated voltage of the power supply is 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC, and the maximum rated output voltage is 1,500V DC.
This part also applies to electric bus top contact charging systems that obtain energy from on-site energy storage systems (such as buffer battery packs, etc.).
