Scope

This part of GB/T 20234 specifies the definitions, requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for charging connectors used in the conductive charging of electric vehicles.
This part applies to charging connectors used in the conductive charging of electric vehicles, which:
——Have an AC rated voltage not exceeding 690 V, a frequency of 50 Hz, and a rated current not exceeding 250 A;
——Have a DC rated voltage not exceeding 1,000 V and a rated current not exceeding 400 A.
If the power supply interface of the charging connector uses standardized plugs and sockets that comply with GB 2099.1 and GB 1002, this part does not apply to these plugs and sockets.
Note: In this part, "vehicle" refers to electric vehicles that can be externally charged.
