Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy flat ingots produced by the semi-continuous casting process, as well as the contents of purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy flat ingots (hereinafter referred to as flat ingots) used for rolling.
