GB 3836.19-2010 Explosive atmospheres—Part 19:Fieldbus intrinsically safe concept(FISCO)
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB 3836 specifies the detailed content of the operating procedures for equipment, systems, and installations using the intrinsically safe concept of fieldbus (FISCO). This part is aimed at bus power supply systems designed in accordance with the GB/T 16657.2 fieldbus physical layer installation standard, which adopts the Manchester coding concept.
The structure and installation requirements of FISCO equipment and systems are determined by GB 3836.4, GB 3836.15, and GB 3836.18, except for the amendments in this part. The fieldbus devices can be protected by any of the protection methods listed in GB 3836.1 applicable to the designated area. In this case, the requirements of this part only apply to the parts of the equipment directly connected to the intrinsically safe bus or dedicated line.
Note 1: Certification according to FISCO requirements does not prevent equipment from undergoing regular certification and marking in accordance with GB3836.4, so that they can be used in other systems. Equipment that has already obtained certification before the release of this technical specification and does not need to meet the electrical parameters of this technical specification may be marked as "suitable for FISCO systems". If the results of the comparison of electrical parameters Uo, Io, Po with Ui, Ii, Pi show compatibility with other parts of the system, and all other requirements of this technical specification are also met, the equipment can be used in FISCO systems.
Note 2: A typical FISCO system is shown in Appendix A.
Note 3: Generally, the "ic" FISCO system is used in Zone 2 areas. The FISCO system is mainly used in Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas, and if there are special provisions in the document, it can also be used in Zone 0.
Note 4: The IEC 6007927:2005 standard introduces the FNICO concept, which involves fieldbus concepts with energy-limited type [nL] in Zone 2. This standard replaces the energy-limited concept with the "i
