GB/T 8190.4-2010 Reciprocating internal combustion engines—Exhaust emission measurement—Part 4:Steady-state test cycles for different engine applications
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 8190 specifies the test cycles for measuring and evaluating the gas and particulate emissions of reciprocating internal combustion engines connected to dynamometers. This part of GB/T 8190 can also be used for on-site measurement. The test cycles representative of the specified use are conducted under steady-state conditions.
This part of GB/T 8190 is applicable to reciprocating internal combustion engines for mobile, transport, and stationary use, but excludes automotive engines primarily designed for road transport. This part can also be applied to engines used for other purposes, such as earthmoving machinery and generator sets.
For engines used in mechanical equipment with additional requirements (such as occupational health, safety regulations, and power plant procedures), supplementary test conditions and special evaluation methods may be necessary.
