This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, order content, dimensions, shape, weight and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of titanium-steel composite pipes.
This standard applies to composite pipes (hereinafter referred to as "composite pipes") used in the fields of petrochemical industry, marine equipment, electric power and energy, environmental protection, etc., which are made of titanium as the outer layer and carbon structural steel, high-quality carbon structural steel or low-alloy high-strength structural steel as the base layer.
